           About Us

Raparee Cycling Club is leisure and sports based club situated in the heart of the golden vale near the village of Dundrum whose members come from the surrounding towns and villages.

The Raparees can be seen every Sunday morning touring through the scenic countryside of Tipperary on routes that take in Christ The King climb in The Glen of Aherlow, on to the town of Cahir and past Cahir Castle and then to the town of Cashel past the famous Rock of Cashel. Every cycle starts and finishes in the picturesque grounds of Dundrum House Golf & Leisure Club.

Each year the club holds a cycle to raise funds for local charities or groups and this cycle is open to everyone so please come and join us on a ride through some of the most fantastic country side with views that will take your breath away.

            GROUP TRAINING

As a club we try to cater to all cycling abilities. We have circuit training days which are a great way to keep all cyclists in contact with each other no matter what their speed levels are. Every weekend "weather permiting" a group will go out on a leisure spin at a handy fixed pace to enjoy the social aspect of cycling... Not to worry if you are a speed freak we also have a group that likes to push on a bit. We also have coaching sessions for those that wish to take part in the racing end of the sport.

When the winter months come we have that covered with turbo training sessions in Dundrum House Sport & Leisure Center.

As we are a young club we can't offer you any words of wisdom only to say cycle safe and be happy.
